You couldn’t ask for a better location on the beautiful Frio River. Casa Rio is on the Frio just minutes from Garner State Park and the charming town of Concan. The house sits high above the lazy river which is shallow on the near bank and ten to twelve feet deep on the far side which is lined with massive Cypress trees. If you want to you can nap and sun on the sandbar just upstream then float back home. Tubing outfitters are just down the road from Casa Rio.
This three bedroom house accommodates ten guests with one King size bed, 3 double beds and a Queen sleeper sofa. The living room has a fireplace and sliding doors that open out to the large deck that overhangs the river. The dining area and the fully equipped kitchen flow into the living room. Two bedrooms and a full bath are located downstairs and the Master bedroom and bath are upstairs. The house is very comfortable and inviting. There is another deck on the front side of the house as well as a lower deck and more seating. A roped winding stairway then goes down toward the river. This is a great spot to relax with family and friends.
Amenities include central air and heat, satellite TV with VCR and DVD player and a library of VCR videos as well, CD player, charcoal grill, washer/ dryer, and dog kennel area. No telephone but good cell coverage. No bed linens, blankets, pillows, bath linens, bath soap or paper products provided.
