You can laze away the afternoon fishing, floating and swimming beneath the massive cypress trees along the banks of a private stretch of the Medina River at Hacienda del Rio. This lovely home was built in the 1930s with high ceilings, wood floors throughout and large gathering rooms. It sits on five acres high above the river less than five miles from the attractions, shopping and night life of Bandera. Large oak trees shade the patio off the spacious living room which flows into a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. There a large half bath which is tucked beneath the gracious staircase. Upstairs are four bedrooms, a den/TV room and three full baths. An antique gate in the backyard leads to the tiered stair way down to the river. This is a wonderful place for a family getaway.
