If you are looking for a true Hill Country Ranch experience, this is it! The Yellow Rose Ranch is located in one of the most majestic areas of the Texas Hill Country. The property is designated as a birdwatcher’s destination as it is a perfect habitat for many species that are rarely seen elsewhere. Of course the wildlife abounds on the 500 acres of canyons, valleys and mesas that encompass the ranch and is a photographer’s delight. This is home to the head waters of the Hondo Creek and the water gently runs throughout the valley with three lake areas providing excellent catch and release fishing. The four homes are creek side and secluded. This is a perfect setting for large family groups to gather or for the couple who just wants to get away from it all and commune with nature. The pavilion is available for family gatherings, reunions and weddings. Catering is also available for events with prior arrangement.
Guests have access to the entire ranch for hiking and are invited to bring their own horses to explore the ranch. Full access to the ranch is restricted if hunters are on the property. All the houses have a fully equipped kitchen, charcoal grill and all linens are provided. There are no telephones but there is good AT&T cell coverage. Guests are asked to supply their own drinking water at all locations. No firearms or fireworks.

Located on 13 secluded acres, the house leads out to a beautiful shaded deck area. From there it is a short stroll down to the spring lake that is part of the Hondo Creek. A paddle boat awaits you there or you can swim off the dock. The setting is delightful and the house is lovely. The master bedroom with a King bed is downstairs. A large living room with fireplace, dining area, fully equipped kitchen and full bath complete the downstairs. Sliding doors lead out to the deck from the living room and dining area. The loft upstairs has a day bed with a twin trundle bed, a bath with shower and a bedroom with two twin beds. There is also a Queen sleeper sofa in the living room so the house can sleep a total of eight guests. There is a CD player, TV monitor with DVD, charcoal grill and good ATT&T cell coverage. Horse panels available at this location.
